Woodcrest Villa is soaring to new heights as they move forward with their newest apartment project, scheduled to be completed in late 2024.

“Woodcrest Villa is excited to announce construction of Falcon Pointe, a spectacular building with 35 beautiful apartments. Falcon Pointe has been designed as a complement to the very successful Pheasant Pointe building that was completed in summer 2019. Woodcrest Villa’s 700+ residents enjoy a vibrant lifestyle while living in well-appointed apartments and villas. Our dedicated staff are passionate about serving, and enjoy seeing residents fully engaged in the many activities offered. The beautiful campus is in a fabulous location with convenient access to health care, downtown Lancaster, shopping and highways. We look forward to welcoming Falcon Pointe residents to our community in late 2024.” States John Sauder, President of Mennonite Home Communities.

The four-story building with ample stone, brick, and glass, offers a boutique lifestyle experience. Unlike larger apartment buildings with extensively long hallways, Falcon Pointe’s hallways are minimized by limiting the number of apartments to nine on the bottom three floors and eight on the fourth floor. The fourth floor also has a stunning rooftop terrace with both exterior and interior space, enabling residents to enjoy the lofty views year-round. Falcon Pointe provides an interior connection, allowing residents to avoid inclement weather when participating in the ample community entertainment, education, dining, wellness, spiritual and other amenities.

The building design encourages residents to truly get to know one another, whether in the apartment’s common spaces for celebrations, on the rooftop for beautiful Lancaster county views, or in their apartments for a cup of coffee and conversation. Falcon Pointe construction pays attention to every detail from individual selections in each apartment home to the building construction itself.

“Each apartment building at Woodcrest Villa is constructed with steel studs and a concrete plank structure. We believe this is superior to other construction methods, such as those made of wood that are often referred to as “stick built,” because a concrete plank building is very stable and less prone to settling and cracking over time. Importantly, sound transmission between apartments is also virtually eliminated using concrete plank, making the living environment more pleasing for residents. The Falcon Pointe fresh, modern exterior is visually appealing.” Says Sauder.

The apartments range between 1,230 and 1,710 square feet, with either two bedrooms or two bedrooms-with-den designs. Big on style and natural light, most apartments have a floor-to-ceiling glass living room wall and all apartments have either a patio or a balcony. Only a few apartments remain!
